Placed strategically around a campus, SENTINEL is a multi-drone unit that responds has the ability to patrol at set intervals, get activated by panic alarms already placed on campus, secure large events and to respond to emergencies. At the push of a button, campus safety can have swarms of drones across a campus in less than a minute.
In addition to current shown software, each SENTINEL unit is stored within a "Nest" which is it's housing against weather and harsh conditions. Each "nest" contains the ability to charge multiple batteries, and in the occasion of long-term security use, a SENTINEL drone can fly down, get it's battery swapped for a freshly charged one, and fly back out in less than 5 minutes.
SENTINEL leverages our Stratis Drone Movement pattern for cutting-edge autonomous navigation. Designed for rapid response, the system enables each drone to dynamically track pheromone trails and adjust its movement in real time—mimicking natural behaviors found in ant foraging and bird flocking. When a threat is detected, blue-flagged drones lock on while additional units converge to distract and delay the assailant until law enforcement can intervene.
